  5. What's new in version 1.52:
  6.    -Enabled Global Memory Compression technology by default for all memory freeing
  7.     operations.
  8.    -Adjusted AutoFree to be slightly more conservative in freeing RAM.    
  9.    -Bug fix: Fixed minor installation issues across all platforms.

  11. 1. INSTALLING OR UPGRADING
  12.  
  13. FreeRAM XP Pro now features convenient automated 
  14. installation. Double-click on the install program icon, then press "Continue
  15. Installation" on the opening screen after checking the acknowledgment of having
  16. read and complied with the information displayed in the opening screen. NOTE: You
  17. must close FreeRAM XP Pro, if it is currently running, to upgrade to the new version.

  19. 2. UNINSTALLING
  20.  
  21. Click on the Information menu in the program window (not in the 
  22. system tray), and select the uninstall option. See our website 
  23. (http://www.yourwaresolutions.com) for an image showing where to access the 
  24. uninstall option in the program, if you still cannot find it.

  26. 3. USAGE
  27.  
  28. FreeRAM XP Pro automatically configures itself to optimize your RAM in 
  29. the background (you can customize this automatic operation in the program 
  30. Settings). Also, you can manually free RAM at any time by pressing the blue 
  31. "Go!" button.
  32.  
  33. Whenever freeing RAM, FreeRAM XP Pro either uses AutoFree (automatically 
  34. optimizes for speed and memory) or tries to free up an amount of RAM you 
  35. specify. You can change whether AutoFree is used or how much RAM to try to 
  36. free in the "Memory Mode" options (right beneath the blue "FreeRAM XP Pro") 
  37. for when you press "Go!" and in the program Settings for when FreeRAM XP 
  38. Pro automatically frees memory.

  40. FreeRAM XP Pro also features a plethora of program options, customizable
  41. settings, and advanced tools. For more information, explore the Settings window
  42. as well as the program menus.

  44. 4. DISTRIBUTION

  46. We permit and encourage the free distribution and listing of 
  47. FreeRAM XP Pro as long as the distributed package remains complete and 
  48. unchanged as that officially distributed from YourWare Solutions (as available 
  49. from our website); the software itself is available free and without cost to the end 
  50. user; the user is given notice of our company website, 
  51. http://www.yourwaresolutions.com; and the end user understands that FreeRAM XP 
  52. Pro is freeware.
